      <image:title>About - A bit about me...</image:title>
<image:caption>My yoga journey started 20 years ago. Over time, as my practice matured, I slowly understood what it meant to ‘listen in’. We are taught to follow instruction and invest trust in the experts around us, and so it took time for me to redirect authority back to myself. During pregnancy, I learned how to really honour and listen to my body. This has been a great gift of self-discovery as I continue to be attuned to my needs in my practice. I believe that we need all the support we can get to maintain this awareness. Many factors will distract us from our inner guidance but practicing yoga while pregnant as connection to self, connection to baby and simply keeping fit and strong can provide us with the tools we need to optimise our chances of having an empowered birth experience. Supporting pregnant women as they approach their birth lead me naturally to train as a birth doula. At the heart of my doula work is a deep respect for women’s innate capacity and wisdom. Birth is a profound rite of passage, yet its sacredness is often overlooked or lost. I see my role as helping families reconnect with what feels right for them, without agenda or expectation. I listen deeply and offer steady emotional, practical and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Outside of yoga and birth work, I am a mother to two sensational young girls and a proud keeper of a smallholding, home to an abundance of vegetables and flowers, some very characterful ducks and chickens, and a surprisingly tame deer. When my hands are in the soil, and I’m in service to others, I feel most at home. This learning journey never ends, and I’m dedicated to constantly improving my knowledge and experience with self-study and the guidance of incredible teachers to whom I’m very thankful. <image:title>Class Schedule - Prenatal Yoga</image:title>
<image:caption>Wednesday 5.30 - 6.45pm In-person only With this class, I aim to prepare you, both physically and mentally for birth while providing a safe and relaxing space to tune into your body and connect to your baby. Pregnancy is a wild journey with each day feeling different from the last so I invite you to come to class and give yourself the space to turn inwards and listen to the body’s wisdom. I believe in nurturing a strong body and mind in preparation for labour so there will be opportunities for a challenge but most importantly you’ll be invited to move intuitively, according to your needs on the day. We’ll use breath work, movement, and meditation, to enable you to create the positive mindset, improved mobility, and confidence that you need to have the best pregnancy and birth possible. This is a space where mothers-to-be can support each other to feel empowered and enriched throughout this process of miraculous transformation. I hope that you will leave feeling both nourished and at peace. Bliss Yoga, 61 High St, Honiton, EX14 1PW BOOK HERE</image:caption>
